Built to replace existing Yukon Housing Corporation apartments, this four-storey wood frame building features 34 new suites designed for independent-living seniors. The accessibility of each space is critical, and four suites accommodate an even higher level of mobility assistance.

The building includes large common spaces on three levels, with a semi-private outdoor deck on the fourth level. Each suite also has a private balcony. Utilizing a very small site, the building’s design includes setbacks in the facade and roof to help create a warm, non-institutional appearance.
